ICAC maintains global cotton supply and production statistics for more than 130 countries, dating back to 1921. Its mission is to assist governments in fostering a healthy world cotton economy.

The Challenge

ICAC was losing relevance with the public because it was difficult for users to interact with the massive amount of information it maintains. Its statisticians maintained the data in Excel, but formulas began to fail and the spreadsheets were collapsing under their own massive weight.
