Trading solutions growing more sophisticated but easier to use

Well known providers of commodity trade management software have brought a number of new solutions to the market in the last 12 months, with a focus on providing user friendly solutions that are reliable, accessible, easy to use, available on range of platforms, and value enhancing.

UK-based Gen10 notes that, as traders grow and their trades become more complex, any issues they have, such as technology, don't go away, "they intensify." Company spokesperson Andrew Dalby  noted that specialty coffee is becoming more and more popular, and that this involves large numbers of transactions of smaller quantities and an ever increasing range of grades. "Existing systems and spreadsheets simply weren't designed to cope with this," he said.
